@old-schoolj1405 My parents died many years ago -- and they did not chose to have me. Regarding the burden - you cannot rely on your kids to take care of you - and if I had kids, I would not expect that from them. I would not want to be a burden. That's what I tried to convey in my messager.

Have you looked around recently and acknowledged how broken families are these days? What if you turn out to be a burden to your kids? How does that feel? (senior, no kids)
