  1. Maybe I should hang onto our record player that works by turning a handle!! We lost power for a full week!! This time, instead of finding the old records, I went out and started weeding invasive plants along our driveway for hours on end :-) !

  2. Looks like you both got lucky. On Tiger Mtn we had no power for a week and no internet for 10 days..... Was able to do a lot of yard work to keep warm :-) . We have a woodstove, running water and friendly neighbors with generators who recharged our large power battery for flashlights and phones. Internet came back yesterday :-) . Rediscovered our old transistor radio late in the game but our taste in music is not much represented nowadays....
