  1. Paul Hawken says that climate deniers and those who believe we're in danger but don't do anything about it are basically on the same level -- by not doing anything. This is where the conversation could have - for at least a few minutes - turned to the positive effects of an individual choice of plant based/vegan lifestyles. EVERYONE can help the environment by Not Eating Meat (or less of it for starters). It was touched upon but it could have been emphasized as a doable, very personal choice that does have impact. It's like voting - each person's choice matters. ETA: I really liked the conversation!! (There is hope?) Since becoming vegan 4 years ago I am so much more aware of the mess we're in...
