  1. Yuval is great, EXCEPT at 57:10!! Please, update your knowledge about money and banking 🙏 (Commercial) banks do NOT produce trust since banks dont lend out savers money!! Deposits/savings are a separate business than Credits/lending for which banks CREATE NEW MONEY in license of the central bank aka the state. So only the state creates trust as issuer of its currency, always promising money for its bonds etc. Commercial banks do not trust you! Therefore they add risk factors to your interest rates and want securities from you! Please, Yuval,update your knowledge of how banking really works! It's not the neoclassical shit, look, what central banks tell themselves, look into Modern Monetary Theory (MMT)

  2. @vv-cv6ud  I'm sure it's not his expertise, but the wrong narrative he's bringing up gives the banks in general a non-justified role in what he really means. They are "enabler" in a sense, but sadly not as good in directing money to where it's best used as they should do.
