  1. That is a common European, neoliberal strategy to focus on "hard working people", als here in Germany. Not to forget about the "top performers of our society" which ofc are nit the normal workers but the leaders of Mittelstand companies and higher, paying all our precious taxes 🙄

  2.  @theolddog5129  nope, not confusing it, it's just a different narrative, chosen by politics, to let the high income "earners" look like the (German) "Leistungsträger der Gesellschaft" since they pay nominally more tax than low income earners. That is the dangerous set of narrative repeated allover again. But ofc a company CEO is not directly responsible or causing the companies overall performance/revenue. The workers and employees are!

  3. Maybe this divide has the purpose to let every non-worker feel guilty of being a society parasite, living on costs of the state, no matter if child, student, pensioner... no better than a "voluntarily" unemployed?? 😡
