If the bonds are too expensive now, will the market really buy all the bonds the BOC wa ts to spill into the market via QT? And to my knowledge, bond prices do not automatically respond inversly to their fixed interest rate. It rather depends on the curent interest rate. A 3% bond should be less worth if the current interest rate is at 5%, and would be worth more than its nominal value if current interest rate would be 1% only. Am I right?
