HOWEVER, you cant just wait for years of collecting data on a new vaccine while more people die in a short time than in the worst pandemics in history! You have to take the risk, unless the producers of vacines were not serious. And if no one is vaccinated, you also don't get data from it. Even established vaccines are not always reliable. I remember going through troubles with vaccination against meningitis for my kid who suffered strange side effects like unmotivated crying for a week. You could not find it as "frequent" in the package insert but it was found very frequent in one of the few and very diverse studies on this vaccine. I also wonder if the warnings for a medication on its package insert is ever updated to cumulative information from pharmacology reports after release of the medication/vaccine?
