Again a very important video. You have a great talent to bring complex matters to a memorable short and sharp summary

Dear Sten, would you please consider an episode on the roles of fructose and URIC ACID on metabolic syndrom, fat storage, weight gain, diabetes insulin rsistence and blood pressure via NO - not only gout. All of this in context of endogeneously produced fructose from a paleo survival pathway. We humans and also great apes have an about 15 m years old mutation in the enzyme <> which gets us into trouble with a sofern high fructose diet. Important science was done by: 1. Prof. Richard Johnson, professor at University of Colorado Scool of medicine 2. Dr. David Perlmutter, University of Miami

Thank you for the video, you should be clearly differentiating "sugar". Traditionally sugar means glucose only, not sure if regular cristal sugar is only Sacharose (which is what you describe) and much of the added sugar in processed food is plain glucose. Also, how much we can eat as sugar really depends on the context (fruits, cakes, ...)

How much and in which ways is our microbiom affected by water fasting? Despite all the benefits as autophagy, wouldn't we also starve our microbiom? Does it affect "unwanted" species more than "wanted" species? π€ππ©πͺ

Its really sad that unreviewed result of an very insufficient study with wrong interpretations spreads viral π Thank you so much for your classification of this study

@timguinn5376Β exactly, so I was confused about his streng claim. However, better than olive oil are olives themselves, anyways

You might want to regard good German "Vollkornschrot-Brot" a bit different in terms of how good bread doesnt increase blood sugar levels too fast and not by much. However, I am with you, cutting out carbohydrates will make you feel better amazingly quickly πππ©πͺ

How is soaking and mildly heating walnuts etc. deactivating Lectins, when earlier in the video you proposed some pressure-cooking? π€ Would be an option for me since I'm allergic to raw walnuts π’

@drekbergΒ specifically, I love the well-structured and very clear approach. So, listeners never get confused and can follow easily along. And even more important, all information stick and help to consolidate facts and understanding around these topics in our minds! ππ©πͺ

Great video, besides a few points. Most important yput very last issue. Why do you say that (all)? Vegetable oils are highly processed and completely deployed of good fatty acids?? Even for extra virgin olive oil or cold pressed oil? Why?
