@WanWhiteWolf "Italy is not asking for corona economic solutions; it is asking for bailout solutions for the debt mounted in the last 20 years." Not correct. Italy only wants help for the overwhelming expenses going through because of the Coronavirus. For this reason only. As for the Roman Empire. It was 2000 years ago and you still have grudges? Well, I know that all colonization is bad but think about the positive: The Romans civilized all of you, brought the Roman Rule of Laws, there were no laws in Europe, they brought the concept of nationhood, this is Hispania and this is Britannia and this is Germania, just to mention a few. They instituted civilian governments and among other they spread their Latin Language and Culture and even though they were the rulers they granted upon the local population Roman citizenship and Latin Right and made the people part of themselves elevating them to high ranks. Not bad from an occupying force. We cannot change the past. That's the way it was. The EU was meant to forget all that and leave it in the history boos and to look forwards to better days for all of the people of Europe. Unfortunately what will bring down Europe and not only the European Union is this non-stop, massive, unregulated non-White, third-world immigration/invasion and not this financial problem.

She has majority in the Lower House and the Senate and can pass any laws that she wants but nothing not much and Zero on immigration.

@marten73 It's the government's fault for not providing job opportunities in various sectors of the economy and easy transfer from a job to another with Italy being number three among the G7 richest, most industrialized country with major gold reserves. Also the education system must be modernized to reflect today's needs and chronic nepotism must be eradicated. I don't understand why they change governments but actually nothing changes of substance,
3
Actually, what the EU must do is stay away from each member State's economy. This is why Italy, Greece, Spain and others are in financial trouble because of Germany's austerity program imposed upon all of the EU. Italy was well off before joining this scheme and before adopting the Euro
2
Italy doesn't need to be reeducated and is not a spoiled child. Italy is the third largest economy among the G7 most industrialized countries. As I've explained elsewhere what disrupted the Italian economy was adopting the Euro and being told by Germany how to manage its own affairs with penalty if not. This cannot go on. Italy must revert to the lira and not necessarily get out of the EU.

@strofikornego9408 I think that you don't know what you're saying. Italy is a net contributor to the EU paying in excess of 98,475 millions of Euros. Moreover, the institution of the European Union was not based on financial stability of each member State, although when there was no Euro Italy fared much better and not in need of any help. The EU was established to maintain peace and security in a continent where there had been wars and destruction for centuries. This was the main objective.

Drom Assault When was the last time you saw France and the UK.? All taken over by third world scumbags.
2
Drom Assault The way you express yourself it shows that you're uneducated and unable to conduct a civilized dialogue.
2
Scumbag Assault should know that our Roman ancestors civilized all of Europe. If he is European ( White) and is half way civilized he owes it them.
2
It was the introduction of the Euro and the fiscal restrictions imposed by Germany upon member States which caused all this mess. Italy must return to the Lira and manage its economy without outside control.

The Italians have changed government but nothing has changed. On immigration I blame mostly the useless President Mattarella who as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forced could have sent a long time ago the Navy to block all those boats without any help from the EU's government but has done nothing.
1
I hope that you're only joking!!! Italy has the third largest economy within the G7.
1
@ricbrow8752 No doom. Italy is the third most industrialized country among the G7. The only problem in Italy is that they have incompetent people in the government . I believe Italy should remain in the union but leave the EURO. t was the introduction of the EURO which messed up Italy's economy. This could be also said of Greece and Spain and some other country in the union.`
1
@ricbrow8752 How did they do before there was the EURO? They still managed to do business among themselves isn't it? They can do the same. I heard that Italy or even Greece could use their money internally and the EURO when dealing outside of their own countries. Not sure the details of how it would work.

She's not popular at all. She lied to be elected. For years she preached to Italians that the massive immigration invasion has to stop and if elected she would stop it and she would deport hundreds of thousands of the invaders. Her coalition partners, Berlusconi and Salvini said the same. She had done nothing about this and the invasion continues.

@Bolsonaro_em_Haia Italy id one of the founding members of what is now the EU and the third largest economy among the G7. If Italy goes there will be chaos in Europe for sure and I don't think that Italy will leave the EU because there is a reason for this European unity and is not based on the economy. Is based on making sure that there will always be peace among the Europeans. There is the possibility that Italy may return to the LIRA and quit the EURO to rebuild its internal markets but this is only speculation.
1
Italy was in sound financial footing before it joined the Euro which was a German invention. Italy must go back to its own Lira and manage its economy and all will be fine as it used to be and not necessarily get out of the union. Comes January 2021 you will see how painful BREXIT is going to be for the British.
1
@MRiitta If you don't know Italy is the third richest, most industrialized country among the G7. The fact that most politicians in government are useless is another story.
