  1. The Indian teacher said "Latino" to identify Spanish-speaking Mestizos. How stupid she is by being a teacher. Latin/Latino/Latina is a language and a culture, the language spoken by the Romans and their culture. And in correct English it's LATIN and not Latino and there is no Latino America, the Latin French colonizers called that area Amerique Latine (America Latina or in English Latin America). The reason for using the "Latin" in "Latin" America was to emphasize their Roman heritage and to distinguish themselves from the Anglo-Saxon, English-speaking, Protestant USA. Latin American doesn't mean Latino.It's time to stop this 40 year-old lie.
