These people are Mestizo Indios and Indias and not Latins. These are the Latins: Italians, French, Romanians, Portuguese and Spaniards and have been Latins for more than 2000 years since the Romans. Mexican Frank del Olmo messed up when he chose the term "Latino" (which is incorrect in English anyway-correct way is LATIN) instead of "Latin American/s" to identify the people of Latin America. Big mistake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyAjG4hPckA&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj2wotjd3nw&t=147s

We don't want you in the republican party. Trump is pandering to you and we don't like it.

You mean "Latin Americans" not Latinos. Latinos first is incorrect in English-correct is LATINS) secondly the correct way to name the people of Latin America is "Latin Americans ". Latin only refers to Roman Latin Languages and Roman Latin culture. Listen to Miss Citlalli: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj2wotjd3nw&t=147s

Ivan Moreno We are engaged in a discussion in order to clarify a very important issue. The terms Latin/Latino/Latina are been used incorrectly and people must be educated on the subject. What's going on is called "Appropriation of Culture and Cancel Culture". Latin is NOT a Skin Color. Latin it's only about Romance languages and Roman Latin Culture. Any other interpretation is not allowed. Miss Citalli has news for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj2wotjd3nw&t=147s

Ivan Moreno Not to you but it matters because the truth must prevail. The Latin, be it the Latin People, the Latin Language and the Latin Culture is the heritage of the Romans and by extension the Latin Europeans and Latin only means one thing: Having inherited the linguistic and cultural heritage of the Romans and nothing else. There is no Latin Race in the Americas, no Latin Ethnicity, no Latin Food, no Latin Music and no Latin Dance. It's all an invention and people cannot be half Latin and half African because Latin is a culture and African is a race. The two don't mix and Latin is not a Skin Color either. There is a lot of ignorance out there.

Ivan Moreno Why you want to come here you and most of you and show your ignorance? What is the difference between American and Americano? Tell me which is the difference!!! No difference. Sorry about all of you who just don't want to understand that Latin or as you say Latino is not your heritage. There was nothing Latin on this continent before the Latin European colonizers , French, Portuguese and Spaniards, brought it here with their Latin-derived languages. This is why the French called that part of the now known as "Americas" "Amerique Latine" (Latin America). No there is no difference between Latin and Latino. LATIN in English language and LATINO/LATINA in Italian, Romanian, Portuguese and Spanish language. You can only claim to be "Latin Americans". Latin/Latino already has a 2000 year old Roman meaning and it doesn't belong to you. Latin/Latino was the language spoken by the Romans and their culture. You cannot change it. I told you to blame Mexican Frank del Olmo because he caused this identity problem for you when he chose wrongly the term "Latino" which is incorrect in English to identify you instead of sticking with "Latin American/s", Frank del Olmo had not even respect for the English language. He wanted the Spanish version in English. Bad move.

Ivan Moreno You keep saying LATINO and I keep saying that saying Latino in an English conversation is grammatically incorrect. In English it's LATIN singular and Latins plural. Secondly Latin is NOT a DNA or a Blood. The racial mixing are one thing and the Latin Culture is another. People of Latin America are not called Latinos. They called themselves Latinos. I told you that it was a Mexican named Frank del Olmo who chose the term Latino instead of Latin Americans/s to identify you. As for the French they only named that part of your continent "Amerique Latine": (Latin America") and not Latino. Latin/Latino/Latina can only be used when trying to identifying ones culture then one can say " I'm culturally Latin" but only in these limited circumstances. Latin/Latino/Latina cannot be used as a personal identification instead of Race or Country of origin. So for example a Mexican would say "I'm Mexican" or "I'm Latin American" but NOT "I'm Latin" never this way. You are all wrong. Latin is not your Race and not your Ethnicity.. Latin is only a culture, the culture of the Romans.

@youngforever1445 You're not a Latina. You have no idea of what Latin means. Latin/Latino/Latina only refers to Romance languages and Roman Latin Culture. You are a "Latin American" by geography of origin and your Race is whatever you like ...but leave the Latin alone and we don't want you in the republican party. You got all free: free Section 8 Housing, Welfare, Food Stamps and all the special treatment pandering to you. It's the Whites who need help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj2wotjd3nw&t=153s
