  37.  Eric Jones  I already answered some of your questions in another post. The problem with the Latin Americans is that they consider their Dark Skin Color as being Latin. They think that to be Latin you have to be dark or Mestizo looking and that Latin is their Ethnicity as the U.S. Census Bureau lists. Latin (Latino is incorrect in English) it's only about speaking Latin Languages and possessing Roman Latin Culture. People from Latin America keep saying " I'm Latin or in Spanish "Soy Latino, Soy Latina". This is wrong because we don't use "LATIN" as a personal identification. We use Latin only on occasions when we have to identify our culture. The right way would be I'm White, I'm Mixed Race, "I"m Indigenous..."I'm Mexican", I'm Cuban", "I'm Honduran" or "I'm Latin American" but NOT Latin, not Latino, not Latina and certainly not Latinx. Now if any of you feels that he/she has a Latin culture (The Latin Culture is the culture spread by the Romans) then he/she can say "I'm culturally Latin" or in Spanish " Tengo cultura Latina" but only then and not like all of you do. In fact the Italians and the Latin Europeans seldom use the term Latin unless they have to identify their culture.. They say White or Italian, French, Romanian, Portuguese and Spanish or just European. You have to blame Mexican Chicano Frank del Olmo who created this mess years ago. Frank del Olmo wanted to unite all the Spanish-speaking people of the Americas under one label but he chose the wrong "LATINO" label instead of choosing a Race for the Latin Americans or just say "Latin American/s". Latino is wrong in English you don't say Latino you say LATIN and wrong because Latin only refers to Languages and culture and has nothing to do with Race or Ethnicity. You just don't use Latin/Latino/Latina as a personal identification. You have to use your RACE or your Country of origin or say Latin American. I hope that I clarified the issue.

The problem with Italy is that many politicians are incompetent. Italians not speaking Italian? You must understand that in Italy their local dialects are their first languages and that's true but everybody learns Italian from kindergarten to High School to college. So they know both the local dialects and the official Italian language. Now when confronted with Italians of other distant areas then they switch to Italian and the same as with foreigners but saying that Italians don't speak Italian is not correct. And the Italian language is not 40 year-old but has been there beginning in 1861. Before Italian in Italy they spoke Latin (Lingua Latina) which was the language of the Romans. People steal from you? Did you see the race or nationality of those people? They have many Gypsies and other non-Italians doing this stealing. The problem with you is that you are not from Italy and you don't know that much about Italy and it's culture and your brother is generalizing a lot. Go to a small Town in North Dakota or Maine or South Carolina and see how good you feel but your brother downgrades life in small Town in Italy for lack of retail stores. How can he compare life in small Towns with life in larger Cities? Same is in the United States. Small Towns in the States means lack of stores, opportunities and poverty. In the United States of America we have millions on Welfare, too many unemployed and homeless people, forgot about that? He got away away from remaining in Italy pass the 90 days? Very soon not anymore. In fact the European Union is in the process of establishing an entry and exit system to track travelers.

He declared useless State of Emergency decrees and let the Courts to stop them when the State of Emergency Decrees are declared to resolve an Emergency and they are not subject to oversight by Congress and the Courts otherwise there is no meaning in declaring a State of Emergency if they can be stopped. What makes me angry is that young non-White people today who live in the Bronx and elsewhere in New York or ever people who have moved from other States to the New York City see some Whites moving to the New York City as "Occupiers". They talk about "gentrification". My advice to those charged under federal laws is not to plead guilty and to go to trial instead and advice the jury about the unconstitutionality of the law under which they were charged. Educate yourselves and fight for your rights. Also the Plea Bargain System used in federal and State Courts. Totally unconstitutional for people charge for a criminal offense. Twice: Once in the constitution itself and then in the article of the Amendment to the Constitution it clearly says that all criminal trials shall be by jury. In Latin America you speak Latin-derived languages, French, Portuguese and Spanish, you received a Latin Culture by the French, Portuguese and Spaniards, the laws in each of the Latin American countries are based on Roman Laws and the main religion is Roman Catholicism. Now about why you call yourselves Latin American/s. Latin American/s because the French called that part of what is now the "Americas" "Amerique Latine" that is "Latin America". This is what people did hundreds, thousands of years ago, they explored and found themselves in other people's territory. That's the way it was.
