  1. These are the real Hispanics: Spaniards and Portuguese. Why? Because they come from HISPANIA which is the name given by the Romans to what is now Spain and Portugal. The people of the Americas have twisted and misappropriated this "Hispanic" term without knowing it's history. They have also misappropriated the "Latin/Latino" term and given a different meaning when Latin actually means : possessing Roman culture but they use it as an abbreviation for saying "Latin Americans'. The fact is that "Latin American/s" cannot be abbreviated into "Latin or Latino" because Latin/s means one thing and Latin American/s means another. And by the way in correct English it's Latin, masculine and feminine and NOT Latino and not Latina.

Those you call "Latinos" are Spanish-speaking Mestizo Red-Skin Indians. Only these people have the right to call themselves Latins: Italians, French, Romanians, Portuguese and Spaniards. Latin means Roman, it means possessing Roman culture which encompasses speaking a Latin-derived language (Roman-ce Langueges) coming from a country whose laws are based on Roman Laws and whose Religion is Roman Christian Catholicism.The people from Latin America (named by the French "Latin" America) use the term Latin/Latino without knowing what it means. This is called cultural appropriation and manipulation.
