@chrisbammer4946 Isn't it just common sense to kill an armed suspect who refuses to surrender, without risking lives? If something like that happens again I would want to see them taking this very same approach. Do note that these are called 'robots' but aren't, they're remotely controlled by a human and therefore someone makes a decision to blow a suspect up, which means there's an individual who is accountable for it. The only difference is that this person is not at risk from the suspect.

DeSantis isn't divisive at all, he has a solid positive approval rating nationwide and is well liked by all factions of the Republican electorate as well as independents, and has proven to be able and attract support from Democrats as well.

Trump made a big error at the black journalists conference and he should have done better: when he was asked about Kamala as a DEI hire he should have said: 'Biden hired her because she's a Black woman, and Joe said he'd nominate a Black woman as VP. That's DEI. It's hiring people on the basis of their race, we end up with an incompetent VP and it's wrong'. Why didn't he? He needs to win. He should be better prepared.

Joe Biden does not suffer from Alzheimer's, more likely he suffers from vascular dementia in the frontal lobe... his behaviour seems in line with that, and he has a history of arterial problems including a frontal lobe aneurysm back when he was 45.

The Supreme Court already has a roughly proportionate (to their population share) representation of blacks. One of their 9 members. Representing 13 percent of the US population that is black - even though of course Clarence Thomas was not a diversity hire but hired because of his merits as a judge.

We are at war with islam. The Arab-Israeli conflict is merely a theatre of war not a war in and of itself. I support Israel not because I am a military interventionalist, because I am not an interventionalist. I support Israel because they are fighting the same war of defence on the same side we are. And unlike our leaders, theirs aren't a bunch of feckless cowards who bow down to their enemies just to appease muslim populations.

How about the impact of Cornell West if he manages to clinch the Green Party candidacy and they manage to get on the ballot in a significant number of states? Combine that with RFK Jr. who draws significant centrist Democrat and Republican leaning voters and independents, and a possible bipartisan 3rd party candidate, an idea which was discussed by Joe Manchin in an interview couple of months ago, in which he said he was open to supporting such an initiative and didn't even rule himself out as a possible candidate, we could be looking at a very chaotic but incredibly interesting election cycle. None except for the main party candidates could realistically win in such a scenario but the spoiler effect of all those 3rd party tickets could go either way and would be extremely hard to predict for pollsters.
