  1. The Christianity we practice today worships Christ but is really the doctrines set out by Paul of Tarsus. Paul of Tarsus was Jewish but he was a Hellenised Jew and it was him who laid out many of the foundations for the non-Jewish elements of the Christian religion, for instance the missionary drive to convert heathens - as well as concessions made to that end, like no longer mandating circumcision or adhering to the Kashrut.
