  1.  @playerlala5673  Not a lawyer ofc, so jsut a guess, but self defense would stand for the first 2 and the girl have witnessed the start of the altercation so that wouldn't be much of a problem. The third of course is no longer self defense, but my guess is that at this point it wouldn't be too difficult to prove insanity. Could change the final sentence significantly. In-world my guess however would be that these 3 assholes had some powerful dads who would fuck the Joker up no matter what. Also I actually wonder if a court takas "returning attacker" into consideration. Let's say you have a farm or some other isolated or semi isolated residence. 3 burglars, armed break in. You shoot one, 2 tries to run away, but you have the opportunity to go after them and try to shoot them too. First thought that I have considering a situation like this is the likelihood of the 2 guys trying to circle around to come back and this time for the kill. But when you describe the event factually "they ran and the owner went after them, killed both" is significantly different from "there were a shootout, owner shot back burglars killed" I suppose the reason one has a court and jury to figure these out.
