I can't blow my nose? That's bullshit and even if I could, and I can't, I wouldn't adhere to that. That and keeping your opinion to yourself and not speaknig up are the two things I don't like. I mean, I get it when you just don't want to be rude, but I have an easy time finding someone who is ignoring a possible argument as insulting. Surprisingly, I have a natural affinity for most of the other rules. I usually don't take my phone on the train, I never litter and automatically pack my trash away into my bag and so on. Oh right, the main reason I don't cross the red light even if there is no point in waiting, is that I respect the car drivers. They can't cross the red lights and get fined for it even if there are no one on the street. So why should I be allowed to do it?

@gndmkt If I'm doing it anyway, why bother asking? And sometimes I have to blow my nose multyple times in a short time-window, so I think it would even get annoying after a while.

@gndmkt Okey, we are getting somewhere here. Prepared for what exactly? At least from my perspective, telling people I have to blow my nose and then blowing my nose is more of a bother than just plain blowing my nose. In my case I even have a nervous tick of some sorts, so it cannot be helped. I really don't want to bother people on trains and wherever but to be the easiest way is to just be understanding and let people do their own little stuff. To an extent of course. Here we have the train DJs and drunks and whatnot, so it tends to be bad. But also the trains are shit and smell like shit and sometimes are invaded by gypsies and then the train has to wait 30-45 mins before the police recaptures the cart they took over and then the train malfunctions and is delayed another 30-45 mins. (Yes, this happened to me) So I mean, maybe if I had the chance to live in Japan for a few years, I would have a different perspective on things.

@gndmkt Fair enough. And no worries, slurp all you want. My sister hates it, but I don't mind too much. Especially when you are eating your noodles :D To be fair, if you came from Japan to Hugnary, there would be a very high chance that I would push hungarian cousine on you anyway.
