  1. Thank you math guy to explain it, it makes perfect sense on the whiteboard. For me the most convenient way to look at it is assigning the points of the orbit circle to the points of a reference circle. If you assign them to the larger "path" circle it's different from assigning them to the orbit circle, because they are different circles.
