Also you went to school quite a few years ago and used your presonal experience as example. But the thing is that one could go and find schools that have decent quality even today, (also could say in the reverse, how was hungary's general education back then? Was it just half a dozen schools that were good?) However with bad job opportunities, teachers whp can chose something else will. And with funds drying up, only private institutes and the odd last bastions will survive. People with any prostects for the future will emigrate, you are a perfect example for this, and whoever is left will only produce degraded quality. This is a self-perpetuating circle that results in a nation of mouthbreathers.

@GalacticR.E.M Ironic you would say someone isn't intelligent because they say intelligence doesn't equal to good. Like you didn't even grasp the original sentence and decided to fill your lack of unedrstanding with your own gibberish. He says that intelligence doesn't mean better human. Meaning that no matter how many great achievements you list that are based on intelligence it doesn't actually argue for your case. The sentence doesn't mean that "intelligence doesn't produce good" but it means exactly what it says on the tin. I would also argue that morality isn't based on intelligence. Specifically it doesn't guarantee that someone with similar intelligence to you will have the same moral structure as you do. Also just for one serial killer example, Edmund Kemper.
