Comments by "Limrasson" (@Limrasson) on "how to instantly get banned on twitch" video.
You know, I work at a large IT company. And I was expecting professionalism, high quality and refined decision making. I was serevely disappointed. So the idea that somebody thought "okey, so if anyone types "I'm 12" we bann them, because surely writing that down is proof of their real age." and this insane, lunatic, shark jumping brainfart got through all decision making, planning and then implementation should be in fact horrify and surprise me. But it doesn't.

This doesn't even make sense in any shape or form. Insanity.

@rafagd I can see the L1 support having a mental breakdown when they get 3212 tickets every day, 'cause the bot banns all these people and then they file a ticket.

@HH-le1vi Either way this makes no sense, even if as someone else pointed out, the banns probably happen because others report them. You saying "I'm 12" in chat is not a binding declaration of your age. When you create your account and set your birth date is. After that point, it's the responsibility of the user or, if they are underaged, their caretakers that they only have access to accounts that they are allowed to see (and this is also set be the responsible party, nothing actually forbids a kid from watching e-girls or whatever) The only thing I can think of is that Twitch doesn't want to be cancelled by a dozen or so soccer moms / karens because their precious little hooligan was caught watching anime titties or other satanistic rituals, like a D&D session or what else. Which on it's own is another can of retarded

@5chneemensch138 Nah dude, that's bullshit, it has to be. Also it doesn't matter, chat is not legally binding declaration of anything. You setting your date of birth on your account is the only basis you give for your age (and might not be legally binding either) Everything after this point is solely on whoever is responsible for you, which most of the time is you, in case of children it's parents/caretaker. That's it.

@Tsukinotaku Yeah, but actually no. They shouldn't care either way, Twitch is neither the police, nor an ethics unit.
