Actually they can't do anything dark, it's the dumbest shit ever, but this "let's show horrible this is, but let's not do it because that might hurt feelings" so what ends up happening is some wishy-washy crap, like Yoda's icecream melts in the desert turn out to be the reason he went to become a hermit or whatever. At the end of the day these worlds/movies were supposed to be cool and awesome. Hell, I actually liked this trailer's melee showcase, but you just feel the narrative exposition above it is going to be cringe.
