I would like to comment on the context, for I care a lot about anime and it's adaptation to english as I do not speak japanese (and english is a second language to me as well) So the subs, to me, seem like just a translation of the words put into a grammatically correct way. However that's only around half the work when localizing something. Usually the author has some sort of intention with what they wrote and if you just translate text word to word, usually that is lost. So good localizations examine the work re-introduce the effect. Sometimes I meet people who completely miss this and complain that the text is changed. I suppose the original intent, understood from context, also went over their heads. But of cours the dub in question is just someone grabbing a platform to voice their crappy opinion, because I highly doubt this is in line with the author's intent. And doing all this is just pathetic and this being an official dub is extremely shameful on western society. Edit: Hyping yourself saying that you are talented while not even speaking the language from which you are trying to adapt text is peak comedy.
