I played a druid during beta and didn't die once until I got to this boss. Then I died 8 times because I also had a melee build. I had to go back and repair, upgrade potion and then go back and finally was able to kill him. But it was a pain, not because it was painfully long and difficult, or because at least some druid abilities are useless junk, but because I knew that on the other end of the spectrum most necro players probably didn't even notice that this was supposed to be hard.
