I don't think that's FOMO, but I do think that old content being obsolete stacked up so much, it's sad. Also I didn't like the endgame content, yes Mythic raiding would be nice if the rest of the game wasn't so, well yeah, tiresome. But the outragous lore/design choices with the grindfest of a gameplay was just too much for me. And by grindfest I don't mean to say I hate grinding, I have double loremaster and Insane in the Membrane. But when you set on a goal to do it and then you do it, it's an achievement. If you have to do the same thing every day/week ad infinum then that's just work.
