@TheGreatKatulu I agree that it looks like such bodies exist irl, but to be 100% nitpicky, you would have to show that, and by showing I meant actual measurements, to be objective.
You likely know this, but academia is funny like this.
A morepractical argument would be that why would journalist disagree with the assesment of the character modell, on one side we have "actual actress was used to produce the model" and "eyeball measurement checks out"
I haven't actually read any of the articles, but now I wonder if there is any basis of these claims (if they were made).
For instance I would make the argument that perfect "anime" body, specifically the face, doesn't really fit the post apocalyptic theme, but this is a thematic choice to begin with.
Utawarerumono is one of my favourites after all.
