I think the moment where I knew I'm not buying Starfield or renewing my Microsoft Game Pass was when an early quest sent me to find 3 batteries in an area with like 5 rooms and instead of letting me actually go around to search for them it just marked all of them on the compass. And of course around the same time all illusion of space travel went out of the window when you can just teleport to your quest markers. I wouldn't even mind the shitty creation engine being a mess if the game was fun. It ain't.
