The game is good, the characters are interesting, but god damn these dungeons are boring as hell. Literally what Asmon said. "Go straight, it's either box or L. Go left get mcguffin go right get mcguffin, go through door you opened, kill boss." I mean it gets the job done but uh. Same with random event, I'm having a rash now from escorting ghosts around. No variation at all. It's not all bad of course, but damn some parts are really basic.

@ShadowOfHistory-wn1xh Yes. I'm still in the post-campaign exploration phase and exactly as you've said, the plot/story isn't great if you compare it to story focused RPGs, but for an ARPG it's good. And I personally really enjoy the druid, earth skills especially. Except boulder. It sucked in D2 and it sucks now I don't know what they were thinking. Otherwise the customization, assuming you don't jump on guides right away is entertaining for a while and the game could be a good base for a long term ARPG. Of course you could have said that (and probably did) about PoE when it came out (I was there) and that game is free. There is not a shadow of a doubt that it's overpriced and has a disgusting monetization scheme. And yes the bosses and tilesets are really boring, I mean just slap random bullshit on rop of everything like PoE does and it's immediately 10 times better. And there is some of that with the endgame but I'm already not super interested in playing (but again enjoy the skills of druid too much to really admit that) so I'll keep playing it for some while more. Also I will likely never spend any cash in the shop, I couldn't care less for mounts and shit.
