Aside from the TV show angle (who knows what is genuine and what is not?) I think all of us take two steps here, which is that she doesn't, she is just delirious / completely lost it. The controll question is "what makes you think that" if she answers "well I have a partner" or "I'm trying to have a child via xy" or whatever then she might be sane. An answer like "I have weird cravings, like for water" is, although not medically viable proof, but a very strong indicator that this woman is as bad on the "inside" as on the outside.
