  1. Lei'Shen worked because he fit. Shadowlands didn't work, because it's not WarCraft. It's just existing ideas taken from other sources implemented as content to an MMORPG, but not wow specifically. Just plain standard MMORPG content. If you took out the entirety of shadowlands and put it in any other MMO, the results would be the same.
