There isn't much to really consider. Migrations and conflicts both due to and causing migrations (sometimes as a chain reaction) had happened before, multiple times, and in fact is the very reason me, my nation and culture exists. Countries were cut up before, land taken and retaken. Our western liberal ideas about liberty in this regard always felt fake. In the end however, the truth is that in these scenarios one has to go and the US isn't giving Florida away because why would they, people not inside your society are not your responsibility. There is no reason to pretend values. It's clear to me that this conflict will go on until only one of them remains.
