  1. Well that's pretty fucking stupid. You can argue a mile about how many flaws Naruto has, but Itachi is probably one of the smartest characters in the entire fucking series. He is super good at figuring out the situation and how to defeat basically any opponent. He is like the God Damn Batman of the ninja world. I don't know where I would place him on this list, but he is definitely smart and intelligent. Of course there are a plaethory of characters you could put on this list. They put Okabe on here, but not Daru or Kurisu. (And Daru is definitely a hero as well)

  2. Yes, he outsmarted him. Manipulating a Death God to do what you want is pretty fucking smart. L even saw it coming from a mile away, but couldn't do much. And that is being outsmarted.

  3. Yeah, but then it's more like 3v5 or 6 because L has all the detectives and Watari and whatnot. I suppose L started from a disadvantage and Light built on his advantage (knowledge of the Death Note and Shinigamies) and the such. I think it does the show good that L was defeated by Light because it makes Light that much of a threat for the second part of the series. I really don't know if we can talk about unfair advantages here at all. None of their battles were on any set of rules or moral codes.
