ONe one hand we have a guy with modern training, weapons and physiology. ON the other hand we have a horde of ancient, yet incredibly professional warriors. I simply don't think one guy can reliably watch out for what 300 others are doing, so chances are with the spartans. Except if they get simply scared by the modern weaponry and get confused/run away.

But maybe not. If the seal is moved to the location where the spartans live, they could just use the terrain and their methods of scouting to find him.

I like how it's one of the commandments of not worshipping idols, yet christians went right ahead and made saints a thing.

@Pherioxus And this is probably partially the reason he gave himself up.

Yes, but this also means that by the age of 17 you could have aquired a skill and occupation with 5 years of experience. Today you get a degree by age 23 if you do it right, but companies still ask for that 5 years of experience.

So what, you want everyone to die?

@sopkogamesstudio Yeah, right. Same difference, my friend.

@thatslavicdude7541 Obviously not. The scenario was that one Navy Seal gets moved to ancient greece to face against the spartans. Even if, let's say, air force gets transported...they can't lift off from the ground because there isn't any airports in ancient greece. Then even if they could lift off, they might not have fuel to reach the battlefield. I mean you can make up any scenario, you could say "One veteran navy seal with a fully decked out and operational army base as support vs 300 spartans when they were 4 year olds" And thne obviously the Navy Seal wins. Or you could say "300 spartans and the other 7000 greeks in a bloodrage marching on a lone fresh navy seal in a middle of an empty field." Then the spartans win. The point of this is that there is no point and you can't really give an explicit answer.

@chrishastings8888 How do you research all terrain when there are no maps of it? No GPS, no drones, no nothing. You are in ancient greece.

Believing that the people you killed will be your slaves in the afterlife isn't any more of a mental illness as believing in any other form of afterlife, actually.
