@marcusfenix4769 What I find it weird is how people think that Tony here is being successfull. He is literally blowing up a balloon, pushing it to the very limit, and then it pops. 99% of the money he uses is for useless crap and even in the end he never gets to be the real power, if he were he wouldn't have had lost. The nicest twist on the other hand is that the straw that breaks the camel's back is Tony not completely abandoning his morality and refusing to kill the mark's wife and children.

@AizensPlan Well yes it's a rise&fall story in a sense that a balloon needs to be inflated before it can pop. But in this case especially from start to finish it's like Tony living in the forest and starting flames here or there so he can be warm. His life expectancy decreases with every scene.
