The Royal Lodge was the home of the Queen Mother and after her death her grandson Andrew was granted a 75 year Tenants repairing Lease. The dispute between Charles and Andrew arose because the property was apparently being neglected .What do you disagree with chump?

  24.  @joansnookes3872  It is not just a question of a spare bed for a spare Prince but a Chef, chambermaid , security etc .If H does not have the courtesy to think about the staff required to cope with him I for one am glad King Charles has more sense. By the way Buckingham Palace is a building site at the moment and none of the Royal family live there .

  25. Dizfan you can't actually compare Catherine with Diana .The current Princess of Wales has the benefit of a stable family background and a first class education. She had met her future husband at age 18 / 19 and they actually grew up together starting as friends .The relationship was a little inconsistent because they were both concerned about longevity and a genuine partnership but eventually they decided there was a future for them both within the Royal family ; Catherine was 29 years old and her fiance was a similar age .I think they were sensible to commit to the relationship but took the time to see how it developed. Hoping Catherine is fully recovered from her illness in time to enjoy Spring and Summer 2024 .

Philip the King is known to be a workaholic and his sons have expressed their concern about him in the past .You may think that King Charles has had an easy life but while Prince of Wales he was actually running a successful commercial enterprise and had various charitable enterprises .Now he is King he has government papers to review and he is still very much involved with his charitable activities . Camilla will be fortunate if she can persuade her husband to restrict his working hours but no doubt she will try. Wishing the King well again as he will be missed.

He can't face up to reality and accept responsibility for his own unhappiness because it is so easy to blame his father, his brother and even his mother . If he was happy in his new life and marriage why would he constantly talk about the past .

  50.  @LuzdoSol00  I believe that before her death the Queen came to the unwelcome conclusion that H was a lost soul. H was the only member of the family who was not told about his grandmothers final illness because he could not be trusted and that must have been her decision. What 12 your old boy actually knows his mother as a human being ? H has recollections of his mother but did he really know what type of woman she had turned into ? William was her therapist and got to know what was causing her unhappiness.
