  1. Pat when you examine the behaviour and statements made by the Harkles none of it makes any sense. We are told that both H & M wanted to leave the Royal family and the U K and it is 100 % clear no one tried to prevent them from leaving .What is their problem when they got exactly what they claimed to want ? I am frankly astonished that the Media think there is anything remotely newsworthy about a pair who indulge in drugs and tell lies.

  3.  @MBI-si4ip  Charles is not the owner of Frogmore Cottage but he is a Trustee who has to ensure the property is well maintained. Leaving a house unoccupied , unheated and unlit for many months or years is going to result in damp and possibly worse problems .I think Charles has been sensible and that H M the Queen would have taken the same decision given the circumstances .

  4. Barbara if only H had someone like you to help and advise him. MM seems intent on keeping her husband as a dependant 12 year old rather than a man of almost 40. He needs to escape her completely and would be well advised to commit himself to intensive therapy for several years .

I once thought she had been employed to damage the Monarchy but now I see that she has a deep hatred for her husbands family and will go to extremes to achieve her ends . She is very dangerous to Catherine, William and the 3 children.

  22. I think it is far too kind to describe MM as declasse because I think her conduct is inhuman . Whoever brought her up failed to teach her that you should treat every person with politeness .The Coronation is a very important occasion for Charles personally , for the U K and the Commonwealth and it was generous of him to invite his younger son and partner to be present at this wonderful ceremony .To respond to Charles generosity in a churlish manner is of course an indication that neither one of this duo are worthy to be acknowledged as family members.

  29. Georgia the media obsession with reconciliation is disturbing but I think King Charles has had quite enough of H & M .I am also convinced William is protective of Catherine and the children because he knows what his brother is capable of. Best wishes to the King and the Princess of Wales.

I left my job with the family firm and appreciated that my salary would not be paid and all benefits would cease .Unfortunately I am now in the situation where I can't afford to pay for security or even legal fees. It is bloody ridiculous that my former employer refuses to pay these costs for me.

  36. Dontlookupkate the nasty behaviour of H & M has included William himself, his lovely wife and their 3 children .I can't envisage how William could ignore the lies told about him and his family. The scandalous rumours about William and Rose Hanbury obviously originated in California with MM which fits with what the journalist Giles Coren said some time ago. It is for the best that William continues to want his brother far away from him and his family.

  38. ​ @malcolmhouston7932 I gather H had not given advance warning of his arrival because King Charles was clearly on his way to Norfolk when his younger son arrived. What strikes me is that H had absolutely no need to make the long journey as the situation was clearly under control .It is not as if H can offer financial or practical help given that he is not skilled at nursing or talking therapy. I expect it was a rather uncomfortable discussion when Charles admitted he did not have his cheque book available .

  43. Mr Meldrew it is not just his privelege which he did not earn but his arrogant and impolite treatment of his father and elder brother which really annoys me. Why should his family or the population of the U K accept his choice of partner particularly as she went out of her way to demonstrate that she felt nothing but contempt for his grandmother ( our Head of State) and the family traditions.

  45. Joan H should have worked out that the last person Elizabeth would want to see is MM .When the Harkles visited Windsor the Queen refused to see M and talked alone to her grandson. Meanwhile M was watched by 4 Footmen to ensure she behaved herself.
