The Johnson Cabinet mainly consisted of MP's who would not challenge the Prime Minister and then we were faced with Covid. The Tories were extremely stupid in failing to support Mrs May who is an experienced and honest Politician in my opinion.

  7. Mark I thought the letter highlighted Braverman's inability to take personal responsibility for anything. She was Home Secretary and it was her job to come up with a Plan B should Patel's cunning wheeze fail .If Sunak was not sufficiently robust then she could have challenged him in Cabinet but I do not think she did that .

Janet the King does not have day to day responsibility for the Army .I agree the U K has no influence over the Israeli government and the marchers are wasting their time but I think banning them would not help either . The Metropolitan Police seem to have had sufficient assurances to enable the march to go ahead and if you think about it violence would not be appropriate given the circumstances .The tragedy is that Hamas wilfully placed the Palestinians in harms way by invading Israel ; they must have known there would be a huge backlash.

I do not know what motivated Charles to invite Sarah to Sandringham because at least one of her daughters is known to be in touch with H & M and has spent time with them in California.
