The monumental failure getting out civilians was attributable to Trumps tenure in the White House because he did not understand how government worked through departmental cooperation. I do not absolve Biden from blame but can understand how the chaos arose through lack of basic preparation.

This debacle has arisen because of a failure of planning and strategy and in fact President Biden has been let down by his staff.
