Joseph there are some people who think Diana was some sort of Saint and would like to punish Charles but the majority are more sensible .Charles had his mother's support and she was a good judge of character . William has a lot to learn and he enjoys spending time with his wife and children so he is more than happy to wait for his father to reign until he wants to abdicate .

@davidjohn64 Twenty years ago the Queen was more than capable of doing her job. I think you forget H M dedicated her life to the people of the U K and the Commonwealth and was not inclined to abdicate .
