I had a serious career but my colleagues suggested I was just earning the " pin money " which was ridiculous ; I had a Degree and professional qualifications. It is possible some progress has been made in recent years but judging by the comments about Catherine not enough.

They are now deeply upset by his behaviour and at a loss to understand what has gone wrong. I do not blame them when they express their feelings and do not think they deserve to be criticised.

  13. There were people speaking up on behalf of both Catherine and William but they were overwhelmed by the scale of the abuse from the Sugars and the Anti Monarchists. You Tube should have erased the more extreme posts which were clearly libellous.

MM had been negotiating the Oprah interview many months before the Harkles left the UK for Canada .She used the interview as a launch pad for their career in the U S and I do not know if they received payment for it . My most vivid memory of the interview was the black dress worn by MM with what appeared to be bird lime on the shoulder . She was extremely confident if not over confident and seemed ready for a fight .

  17. Clyde I do hope so but I am a realist and there are some really evil people out there .Something needs to be done to deal with the most abusive posts. By the way it is remarkable that William has coped with Catherine 's ill health, his fathers ill health and the appalling abuse on Social Media . He really does deserve to be praised for his resilience. .

  26.  @clairepeace5783  Claire I think MM was quite popular when she and H first announced their engagement .It seemed clear to me that initially she was welcomed with open arms by the Royal family as they made all sorts of concessions for her but as time passed her behaviour deteriorated .It is such a pity that H & M did not appreciate what they had because it is , in my opinion, far too late to try to repair the damage .Words once said are engraved on people's memories and can never be deleted .

King Charles must be wise enough to know that if he had the financial assets of Thomas Markle his daughter in law would not bother to keep in contact .In contrast Catherine is a warm hearted lady who seems genuinely fond of Williams father and welcomes his attachment to her 3 children.

  32.  @jjboyd01  Charles does not have a clue who Archie and Lily are. It is possible there are no children and it is also possible that they are not related to H or M. I think it is very serious that two claimants to the British Crown do not have acceptable identities.
