Who knew about Saville ? I was aware of him in my youth but he was known only as a Leeds based eccentric who was concerned about sick people .He was employed in a Dance Hall in Leeds and his employers did not seem to have any concerns about him. The Police can only investigate if a member of the public makes a complaint and that is where any investigation needs to start .

@SHAPIDO1 The Prince of Wales as he was then knew Saville as a philanthropist and was probably deeply shocked when the true facts were revealed.

@mazzholmes2086 I was only young but my parents would have said the same thing .I believe Saville did visit the Palace but how could he walk in and out as he claimed ? He was known to work at the LG I as a Porter on a voluntary basis and he visited Broadmoor too masquerading as a benefactor but no one realised what he was really doing. I know it is difficult to believe but perhaps we were all ridiculously naieve and there were no cameras of course .

@veronicapearson5174 I thought Diana had died ? As regards H I do believe he can be pleasant when it suits him but he has many health problems caused by self confessed drug abuse.
