Long gone are the days of pandemic peak prices, sellers need to discount around 40% from that peak price they are thinking to get something sold. As a buyer, Iā€™m staring down the barrel of a fixed loan at 10% in the future.

  14. I drive an 2005 Suburban. Mostly because itā€™s fully depreciated and I could pay cash for it. New suburban s are ridiculously expensive at over $70k! Now I gotta pay for gas to fill the damn thing. I drop about $200 every single tank fill. Which is roughly every 1.5 weeks. It still beats having a $1,500/mo car payment on a new car! I donā€™t know how people are living through this economic period right now? There truly is no way to get aheadā€¦.
