  1. I've heard in some countries it's seen as a shame to have a disabled child. And didn't you hear that they couldn't afford the treatment? It would have been more of a burden to have a dead child rather than give it up early if you can't afford treatment. But that's just my outlook on it. Not trying to sound heartless.

  2.  @joanwoods7740  That's true, but not everyone can handle the amount of stress that comes along with it. Some parents kill themselves due to the stress.
