If you put the craziness aside and just look at the country for it's tourism, then it can be beautiful.

Japan is far more developed than a lot of countries depending on how you look at it

0:41 I know that's supposed to be sad, but that is SERIOUSLY impressive. The ways that humans can cope with their disabilities is amazing.

That's because the Japanese care about keeping face and don't cover up their problems most of the time. If there's a problem, they admit to it.

I knew they were going to blame the woman when I listened to how he was describing the video. It's so sad that this is happening and no one defends a MOTHER who could have VERY WELL DIED AND HAD HER CHILD GROW UP WITHOUT THEIR MOTHER!!!

It's not any different from the influencers in the US who make morning routine videos that glamorize a life of wealth.

Whenever i hear about oppressed people are in China, it makes me thankful how outspoken people are in America. I can't imagine how much of a prison sentence it feels like to live in China.

I went to UCONN and staying in the small group of familiar people was very true. In my first year there, the first floor was filled with Chinese abroad students and it was so fascinating to be so close to a foreigner. I know I sound like I've never been around foreigners, but I have a huge appreciation for Asian cultures, so it was a star-struck moment for me. I was too scared to approach them though because I was extremely shy back then, so when entering the dorm, I would glance at them and then look away really quickly.

@ilasq I'm talking about the culture and history, not the state of what it is now.

@soggymoggytravels Same here as someone who took an internship in Montana this summer. It's not all luxurious, It's stressful and hard work.
4
Good for you for sticking up for that girl and telling her father off.
3
It's so fucked up.

Not being able to give 30 cents is pathetic. 30 CENTS!!
2
wooooow
2
So ironic
2
Probably because they have to keep up the illusion that their country is 100% perfect.
2
The service industry is REALLY difficult. I hate people who treat others like that.
2
LMAO!!!
2
@dadistos4538 I think they're saying how Serp thinks that America is a flawless country with "small problems." Yes, America is a lot better than other countries in many aspects, but it is NOT PERFECT by any means.
2
2:47 That is so messed up
2
China is so messed up with all the stuff they get away and barely anyone bats an eye at it.
2
I live in a small town in Colorado and the only crime we have is people traveling through with drugs. It's a safe town.
2
China has done a lot of fucked up things, but not TELLING A PARENT THAT THEIR CHILD IS DEAD IS COMPLETELY FUCKED UP!!!
2
It's crazy that no matter where you go in this world, there are always countries with homeless people
2
I love your channel so much

Damn, so this plague is not only in America where parents can't accept their kid is at fault.
1
I felt so bad for her.
1
Or it’s all propaganda in the best cities in China.
1
you're contributing to the problem even if it costs so little.
1
@kennance115 " I always just buy the things that kids sell even if I don't really want what they are selling"
1
@kennance115 I literally just quoted what you said above. You said that you support it even if you don't need it.
1
6:34 Ooof that's really bad
1
LMAO
1
And people think America is bad??
1
China is a hell of a strange place
1
And if they don't step in and the woman dies, then the police will come out saying, "We should have acted sooner." OH, FUCK YOU!
1
Every time I complain about the time it takes for American infrastructure to be completed, I'll be grateful we have stable infrastructure.
1
I can't begin to understand that entitlement of wealth to treat others like they're inferior just because they work in the service industry. That's a PERSON you're talking to, not a robot! NOT EVERYONE IN AMERICA IS PERFECT, but it's really nice to walk into a Starbucks or any "low end" work space and not see behavior like this on a daily basis.
1
Wow that's weird
1
That's such a nice perspective.
1
I’m not Chinese, but I’m getting second hand embarrassment from those videos
1
Even if it is propaganda and influenced by the Chinese government, it's still a beautiful way to expose people to a lifestyle that is far different from what most people grow up in. I worked an internship on a farm for the summer of last year and there is nothing "beautiful" about it. It's a lot of work, lot of labor, lot of aching muscles and exhaustion, long hours, etc, etc, but with videos like hers, it gives off the illusion that it's not all labor, it can be fun and rewarding. And my internship was rewarding because I got to see the beauty of Montana and learn things about business and a different state.
1
Wow.
1
I WAS JUST THINKING THAT LMAO!!!
