  1. I agree. I grew up in the early 2000s (Gen z, 24) and whenever my mom would tell me to get off the computer, I would go outside to play, watch tv or go play with my stuffed animals. But kids today need to be BORED. They need to figure out a solution to cope with their boredom and parents need to give them the "you can play with your coloring book or read a book, but screen time is over." and STICK TO THAT RULE!

  2. As older gen z (24), TV cannot be compared to iPads today. There was a lot of limitation on what could be watched and at what time during the day. I remember flipping through channels constantly and checking the time when a certain show would be on tv.

  5. 1999 here and I grew up watching tv and there's a limitation on what can be watched and at what time, so it is better for a kid to watch tv, than be on the iPad, but not as a permanent solution.
