You would be stupid if you did. It is nice to try to help people, especially those that really need help. But it is a very short step to enabling them. You can't just throw money at a problem and expect it to be fixed.

Most liberals would say it is the job of government, both local and federal, to help people. It all really has nothing to do with this video though. A person gave an opinion. You, and I, are free to disagree. If you are so shallow that an opinion causes you to become disgruntled at the video or the creator of the video then maybe you shouldn't watch videos like this and concentrate on echo chambers like FNC...or CNN, whichever the case may be.

  34. Off grid does not mean you can't have electric, septic, running water etc.. it means you supply these yourself, you are not hooked to any municipal supplies. In his case he is either using solar or a generator and probably has a propane tank.

One guy gets a slice of cake that is a bit bigger than everyone else. But he didn't get the majority of the cake.
