There's no mention of where the dog was when it was run over. Was it running wild out in the street or was it in its own driveway. The driver said it was an accident, that might be true. Maybe the driver's an "A" hole who hates dogs and ran over the dog intentionally. There is no way to know from this report one way or the other. This report doesn't even tell you whether the dog survived or not. Did it sustain minor injuries, no injuries or did it die? Not a very informative newscast.

That's a very interesting story about your BF. What does that have to do with this story? There's no information in this newscast about where the dog was. The driver pull into a driveway and hit the dog in its own driveway? Was it running around loose on the road? There's no way of knowing by watching this newscast.
