@ZoharNoyMeir your votes put hardliners in power 😅 the individuals have made their voices heard. these accounts would be squared someday just as the kurds are going through today.

tena of millioNs have died being invaded to "free" them. hundreds of millions have suffered and seen their lives in tatters even generations later. a few were rich or lucky enough to resettle in developed countries. were The invasions worth it? do people remember the history? most important of all, how many are better off? it's easy to say freedom is worth all that when you arent the majority who are lucky. things are worse off for the absolute majority.

@matthewbarry376 the us British dutch and others invaded others under freedom of religion, freedom for christianity to flourish in foreign lands back then. today it's freedom of speech. the goal is the same. how many of these interviews tell the story of the majority who rather maintain the status quo than go through decades of limbo? the countries being invaded for freedom always ended up worse off generations later, either warring for scarce resources or massive corruption under democracy; the inevitable conclusion for a country bankrupted through war with a power vacuum.

@ZoharNoyMeir hardliners are those in favor of force. now that the us are massively withdrawing from the middle east, Iran Iraq turkey Syria are going to make life difficult for the Kurds who provided assistance to western invasion of the region.

@ZoharNoyMeir errr ..... the squaring of accounts part ?? okay here's another comparison - taiwan. the westerners arent always going to be there nor would they remain the top superpowers forever. america is thousands of miles away and see the middle east as a secondary issue while israeli existence is a primary issue with arabs just as china puts taiwan independence at top priority. what then.... you think the next war will end up like yom kippur or it will last just 6 days?

@ZoharNoyMeir you have to remember history and alliances are frail in the middle east. without us support (uk is no longer a superpower), much of the world wants palestine to win.

@ZoharNoyMeir i have no skin in this game and simply making realistic observations. i have no solution for that conflict because the grudge runs deep and existential threat is on the line.
