  1.  @crazyeight9  having been bullied for centuries by tens of foreign imperialists, china places the greater good above individual liberties. let me clear up just one thing: liberal democracy has nothing to do with peace prosperity and quality of life. hongkong taiwan south korea singapore - the colonial miracles - all entered developed status under authoritarian rule. individual liberties on paper shouldnt be a big problem until america and the uk came along to fund local insurgencies. this is when the greater good comes into play. do you know the difference between ukrainian and burmese independence movement? the former had F-15s howitzers himars while the latter are stuck with homemade explosives & 2-barrel rifles. this is what foreign intervention looks like. im not from china but it irritates me greatly that bbc cnn cnbc chose to create subsidiaries in my country and choke the airwaves full of vitriol. no prize for guessing they were targetted at enemies of the west (iran russia china north korea) while neither china nor russia's propaganda machines ventured this far south. there is nothing superior abt western culture. having worked in sydney and new york, i found the average local to be lazy & entitled and expects the govt to pay for everything. i sneer everytime your politicians praise their constituents as hardworking and resilient 😅 working 40 hours/week is normal; hardworking is clocking 60 hours and studying for a better future at the same time. how many around you have this kind of perseverance?? 😆😆😆

  2.  @meemeechern2828  wow what a lengthy propaganda. you forgot that all imperialists got rich by robbing colonies, enslaving the locals and stealing local technology. a country's gdp grow in increments and per capita wise the west started post-ww2 at china's current level. why should the winners of world war 2 almost 8 decades ago decide how the world should be run today? whatever china did today will be considered 'ancient history' in a frw decades just as the imperialists so easily ignore their sins for a clean slate. the west created this grotesque game.
