@generalmartok3990 the singapore govt let their people read both news from china and the west. a citizen's perception towards other countries rest heavily on the media they read.

@nkristianschmidt you dont understand singapore. 😅the country shares a lot of china's "oppressive" traits in governance including censors on free speech / media, utilitarianism and harsh sentences on crime. a singaporean esp early millenials and older are more likely to identify with china's methods than any westerner would. even china's meteoric growth is partly inspired by singapore's success.
