@Neuvari as a person in the exact same position as her (same time period, no pocket money etc), her origin story is full of holes. she did experience some parts of it but none of them for prolonged period. ***but im indifferent to how people make money - so if she is able to inspire people, who am i to judge !? holes(sg - turn of the millenium timeframe): 1. cheaper alternative to singapore is running to penang or kuching, which a lot of indos did. which means she is not that broke with the safety net of her extended family at least. 2. hawker center meals are $2($1.20 in canteens). u can work saturdays distributing flyers clearing $25-30/day, enough for decent food. a lot of indos do that. 3. insurance sales are not exactly the most honest profession and being pretty definitely helps (sg girls are ugly). iirc from our conversation, she sells investment products. most asians are financially illiterate at that time and the media kept hollering stock market heights. i admit being a broke indonesian in singapore is mentally tough because you are surrounded by rich indos while the locals think you are wealthy. she did well with her motivation story though, but hardly inspiring. *

@Neuvari i did know her story. she repeated the same story in every event and tv show 😆😆😆. she's quite popular as the opening act for govt events. but if her lies inspire people and she is able to expand on that, kudos. we all make money unethically one way or another 😆

@Neuvari i dont hate her, actually marvelled by her ability to get rich through spinning a lie to inspire. it's just funny you chose to get angry at multiple people at slightest insult directed at your idol - an unhealthy fixation that consumes a large part of your life to defend someone else. i dont personally know her, we go to different churches and i wasnt interested in women at that time.

@Neuvari so far we have availability of work, 3x living cost (compared to malaysia) and 4x tuition fees for international students on top of the rich boyfriend. have it your way then. either she's too lazy to do odd jobs or cant stick to a budget allocated by the dbs loan scheme, and thats why she starves. dbs loan schemes require 2 singaporean sponsors that are wealthy enough to act as guarantors for the debt. i want to see how long you will stick to this "she is poor" story.
